Legal Assistant – Corporate Governance & Contracts

About the role

Besins Healthcare is looking for a proactive Legal Assistant to support its Legal Department. You will help plan, execute, and maintain a range of legal projects, from corporate governance filings to contract lifecycle management, while ensuring high‑quality documentation and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Counsel and legal counsels with corporate governance, entity registrations, and company resolutions.
• Prepare and file routine corporate documents with government authorities and manage business license renewals.
• Handle Powers of Attorney, Grants of Authority, and KYC documentation for treasury interactions.
• Update and maintain the Legisway Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, draft contract summaries, and manage the end‑to‑end approval process.
• Archive physical and digital legal documents according to retention policies.
• Support compliance programs, take minutes for the Compliance Committee, and coordinate external parties on litigation matters.
• Track operational KPIs, strategic projects, and suggest process improvements for the Legal Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or corporate paralegal.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Experience with KYC requests and multinational corporate matters is preferred.
