Senior Investment Analyst – Hedge Fund Expert (Remote)

About the role

Mercor is looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help AI research teams improve their financial models by applying hedge‑fund expertise, market sizing, and earnings analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate long/short equity hedge‑fund strategies to enhance AI model training.
• Develop and review financial models that improve AI‑generated financial content.
• Conduct market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analysis for AI research teams.
• Analyze investment research, summaries, and memos to inform AI model evaluation.
• Predict and analyze earnings results to refine AI model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines and boosting model performance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience at top hedge funds.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, or investment research.
• Availability to start in October and commit 10+ hours per week for a minimum of four weeks.

What we offer
