IT Projects Director – Lead Global Digital Initiatives

About the role

The IT Projects Director is an executive leader responsible for delivering ICT and digital build activities across the organisation, covering infrastructure, tools and business solutions. Reporting to the Group IT&S Director, the role participates in key governance bodies and works closely with C‑level executives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi‑disciplinary organisation of 40+ staff across several geographies.
• Oversee IT and digital project budgets, investment decisions and contributions to the three‑year plan.
• Define and enforce standards, methodologies and tools for project management and development frameworks.
• Prioritise, frame and deliver digital and IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Govern the Low‑Code and ProDev development activities and ensure portfolio alignment.
• Drive digital and data‑driven initiatives, including AI‑related topics.
• Establish internal governance bodies and communities for Low‑Code and digital solutions.
• Partner with executive leadership to create business‑value digital solutions.
• Maintain alignment with IT Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Data Management and Cybersecurity.
• Support executive reporting for the IT&S Director to various committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology‑related field; Computer Science degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience, ideally in IT management and digital transformation.
• Proven experience leading large teams and managing multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
• Experience participating in C‑level governance bodies and steering committees.
