Lead Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Architect to drive the global implementation and adoption of Microsoft Fabric for an international, data‑driven organisation. In this strategic position you will shape the target architecture, governance framework and operating model that support our long‑term data strategy across multiple regions and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global architecture and rollout of Microsoft Fabric across the organisation.
• Design and implement scalable, future‑proof data platforms and architectures.
• Translate business objectives into practical data solutions.
• Establish and enforce data governance, quality, security and compliance standards.
• Define and maintain enterprise‑wide data models, architecture principles and documentation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape the global data strategy.
• Mentor and lead data engineers, architects and other data professionals.
• Ensure performance, reliability and scalability of modern data platforms.
• Promote best practices in data management, architecture and cloud technologies across international teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture, data management or a related field.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
• Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise‑scale data architectures.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent English.
