About the role

The Banquet Coordinator internship at Fairmont Monte‑Carlo offers a hands‑on experience in the hospitality sector, supporting the banquet department of a luxury hotel in the heart of Monaco.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee administration, including planning and timesheet tracking.
• Assist in recruitment and coordination of extra staff for seasonal and year‑round needs.
• Handle ordering and procurement of food, kitchen supplies, and equipment.
• Process administrative emails, Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and follow up on event dossiers.
• Monitor compliance with hotel procedures and service standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department tutor.

Required profile

• Student enrolled in a Business, Hospitality or equivalent program.
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English.
• Organised, rigorous, proactive and able to work well in a team.
