IT Projects Director

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Projects Director to lead the delivery of ICT and digital initiatives across SBM Offshore. Reporting to the Group IT&S Director, you will shape the company’s IT and digital strategy while working closely with C‑level executives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multi‑disciplinary team of 40+ professionals across several geographies.
• Own the budgeting, investment decisions and three‑year planning for IT and digital projects.
• Define and enforce standards, methodologies and tools for project management and development.
• Prioritise, frame and deliver digital and IT solutions that align with business objectives.
• Govern the Low‑Code and ProDev development portfolio and drive AI‑related, data‑driven initiatives.
• Coordinate internal governance bodies and communities for digital solutions.
• Collaborate with IT Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Data Management and Cybersecurity to ensure consistency.
• Support executive reporting for the IT&S Director to senior committees and the supervisory board.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT management, preferably in a large, global environment.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex budgets.
• Experience contributing to IT and digital strategy at an executive level.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with regular interaction at C‑level.
