About the role

The Chief Product Officer will lead AKTG’s product portfolio, shaping the end‑to‑end guest experience across journeys, destinations, owned assets and the broader ecosystem. This senior role balances protecting the brand’s heritage with purposeful evolution to drive guest loyalty, sustainable margin growth and long‑term relevance.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the global product vision across all AKTG brands, journeys, destinations, DMCs and assets, translating it into clear priorities and standards.
  • Evolve existing products and branded experiences while selectively introducing new concepts that add long‑term value and remain authentic.
  • Lead DMCs as core products, accountable for quality, commercial performance and scalability, fostering a “One A&K” approach.
  • Direct destination expansion from opportunity assessment through launch, balancing central standards with local expertise.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle – design, planning, budgeting, forecasting and allocation – with disciplined processes to test, scale or stop initiatives.
  • Define and own product KPIs covering guest experience, revenue, margin and profitability; assess feasibility and returns for major initiatives.
  • Develop business cases for new destinations, assets, partnerships, acquisitions and capital investments, presenting recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Oversee product direction and performance across owned assets, Crystal itineraries and shore excursions, ensuring integration and strong commercial outcomes.
  • Co‑own AKTG group procurement strategy with Finance and Operations, leveraging scale while preserving destination authenticity.
  • Use guest insight and data to inform product decisions, focusing on loyalty, advocacy and value drivers.
  • Build, lead and develop a high‑performing global product organization with clear accountability and succession planning.
  • Establish operating models, governance and decision‑making frameworks to enable consistency, collaboration and scalable growth.

Required profile

  • Proven track record in leading global product portfolios within the travel, hospitality or related sectors.
  • Experience managing destination management companies (DMCs) and owned assets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on margin growth and profitability.
  • Strategic mindset capable of balancing brand heritage with innovative evolution.
  • Ability to drive product lifecycle management from concept through launch and scaling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, collaborating with sales, IT, marketing, finance and revenue teams.
  • Data‑driven decision‑making experience, leveraging guest insights to shape product strategy.
