Banquet Coordinator Internship

About the role

This internship provides hands‑on experience in banquet coordination at a luxury hotel. Working under the guidance of a mentor, you will support the daily operations of the banquet department and gain insight into high‑end hospitality service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee administrative tasks such as planning schedules and tracking hours.
• Assist in recruitment and sourcing of seasonal and year‑round staff.
• Handle purchase orders for food, kitchen supplies, and equipment.
• Process internal communications, event BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and maintain project files.
• Monitor compliance with hotel procedures and standards.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as required by the department.

Required profile

• Student enrolled in a Business, Hospitality or related program.
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English.
• Organised, rigorous and proactive.
• Enthusiastic team player with a strong desire to learn.
