Mercor is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to support its AI research labs. This remote contract position focuses on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data used to train and evaluate AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy of financial reporting to guarantee compliance and precision in AI model outputs.
• Analyze complex financial data to improve the depth and rigor of AI‑generated content.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model performance.
• Develop benchmarks for assessing AI‑generated financial analysis tasks.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to maintain consistency and relevance across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines while continuously improving AI model performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Hands‑on experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.
• Ability to work remotely with a commitment of 10+ hours per week.
