Infrastructure Administrator – Network & Linux (H/F)

About the role

The company is looking for an Infrastructure Administrator to design, deploy and document a secure, high‑availability infrastructure across two sites. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the platform, from hardware installation to integration with the information system.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document the technical architecture, including urbanisation plan, cabling matrix, naming conventions and operation manuals.
• Lead physical deployment: receive equipment, rack installation, cabling, labeling and compliance checks.
• Commission the platform: initial configuration, integration with existing services and functional testing.
• Configure core components: Linux servers, networking, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring and databases.
• Automate deployments and configurations using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Implement security measures: endpoint protection, log centralisation, vulnerability management, bastion host, network and application filtering.
• Install and integrate application solutions on the technical platform.
• Support security audits, conformity assessments and certification processes.
• Collaborate with technical, security, operations and project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience administering Linux systems and automating with Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of network, virtualization, storage, backup and security infrastructures.
• Experience deploying physical infrastructures in highly secured, multi‑site or HA environments.
• Proven ability to produce structured documentation (architecture diagrams, flow matrices, disaster‑recovery plans).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, traceability, resilience and business continuity.

• Linux (Ubuntu, Debian) administration.
• Network equipment (Cisco, FS switches; Stormshield, OPNSense firewalls).
• Storage technologies (ZFS, NFS, CIFS, LVM, RAID).
• Virtualisation (Proxmox VE) and backup (Proxmox Backup Server).
• Monitoring (Zabbix) and SIEM (ELK stack).
• Proxy solutions (Squid, HAProxy).
• Database management (PostgreSQL).
• Endpoint detection & response (HarfangLab) and bastion security (Wallix, ModSecurity, CrowdSec).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Ansible, Terraform.
