Accounting & Administration Professional – Monaco

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Accounting & Administration professional to join a Monaco‑based maritime company with owned assets. The role blends day‑to‑day accounting duties with exposure to financial reporting, process optimisation, and system digitalisation, offering a clear pathway toward a Controller‑level position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and administrative processes across multiple entities.
• Own the accounts payable (creditors) cycle, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment preparation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Assist in improving internal processes, controls, and reporting structures.
• Work with modern accounting systems and contribute to digitalisation initiatives.
• Liaise with external advisors and stakeholders as required.
• Provide backup for finance and administration colleagues to ensure continuity of operations.

Required profile

• Solid background in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience managing accounts payable or creditors.
• Experience in multi‑entity or international environments is preferred.
• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with potential to evolve into a senior finance role.
• Experience in maritime, shipping, or asset‑heavy industries is a strong advantage.
