Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our Confectionery and Wine & Spirits duty‑free activities across Africa. The successful candidate will drive growth by identifying new partners, expanding existing accounts, and building strong, lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, recruit and onboard new clients in the African market.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase sales in both new and existing markets.
• Maintain trusted relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Handle communications promptly and keep records accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage overstocks and coordinate with other departments to ensure policy compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in Wine & Spirits or duty‑free environments.
• Proven experience working in Africa and handling international business.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time‑management abilities.
