Corporate Paralegal Officer – Pharma/Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal Officer for a global pharmaceutical/healthcare group’s Legal Department. This senior‑level position supports the General Counsel in corporate governance, contract lifecycle management, process improvement, and KYC coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Counsel and legal counsels on entity registrations, maintenance, company resolutions and routine filings with government bodies.
• Assist with contract negotiations, entity management, litigation matters and external counsel coordination.
• Drive the rollout and ongoing maintenance of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, from data migration to regular updates.
• Maintain and renew business licences, draft and edit legal documents, and manage the contract approval process.
• Own records‑management tools, recommend and implement improvements to legal team processes and policies.
• Track operational KPIs and strategic projects alongside the General Counsel.
• Serve as the interface between Treasury and internal/external stakeholders for KYC documentation requests.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience as a corporate paralegal, including exposure to KYC processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or equivalent.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, self‑motivation and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Experience communicating with senior‑level stakeholders and handling document verification before management sign‑off.
