About the role

As an External Sales and Service Advisor Lead for the OBR talent pool, you will drive sales performance within your assigned area by applying proven sales processes and delivering exceptional customer service. You will build and sustain strong client relationships while contributing to the overall success of the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply appropriate sales processes to achieve individual targets and grow the client base.
  • Retrieve qualified leads from internal pipelines and generate new business through external contacts.
  • Contact prospective clients, present banking products, and manage the end‑to‑end client journey from proposal to post‑sale support.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of product pricing, application procedures, and processing timelines.
  • Analyse competitor information and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Track and influence sales activities to meet predetermined targets.

Required profile

  • Completed FSCA‑recognised FAIS‑relevant NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
  • Successful completion of the First Level Regulatory Examination.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver superior customer experiences.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs.
  • Commitment to compliance with governance, legislation and audit requirements.
