Head of Treasury & Direct Investments – Family Office

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Treasury & Direct Investments to lead the treasury function of a sophisticated family office based in Monaco. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure efficient capital deployment, robust liquidity management and support the office’s diverse investment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead treasury operations, managing liquidity, cash flow and working capital across the organization.
• Develop and maintain liquidity forecasts and cash‑flow models to guide strategic decisions.
• Oversee banking relationships, funding arrangements and debt management to secure optimal financing.
• Manage foreign‑exchange, interest‑rate and broader financial risks through appropriate hedging strategies.
• Support the execution and funding of direct investment opportunities.
• Implement treasury governance, controls and reporting frameworks.
• Monitor counter‑party exposure and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, including process optimisation and automation.

Required profile

• 10–20+ years of experience in treasury, banking, corporate finance or related fields.
• Proven track record in liquidity management, cash‑flow forecasting and banking relationship management.
• Expertise in foreign‑exchange, interest‑rate risk, hedging and debt management.
• Experience supporting direct investments and capital deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline; professional qualifications a plus.
