About the role
The In‑store Tailor is responsible for all tailoring activities at the Monte Carlo boutique, ensuring alterations meet the highest standards of quality, precision and timing. The role supports the sales team and contributes to client satisfaction while also assisting the Sartoria Solomeo Made‑to‑Measure project.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and execute appropriate alterations while preserving garment structure and brand identity.
- Support the sales team during fittings and client appointments.
- Take accurate measurements for the Made‑to‑Measure (Sartoria Solomeo) service.
- Oversee external tailoring partners to ensure quality compliance.
- Perform final garment inspection before delivery to the client.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in high‑end tailoring within luxury boutiques or ateliers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Advanced use of lockstitch and overlock sewing machines and pressing techniques.
- Expertise in formal menswear construction and garment alteration.
