Legal Assistant – Corporate & Compliance Support

About the role

Besins Healthcare is looking for a proactive Legal Assistant to support its Legal Department. The role involves managing corporate governance tasks, contract lifecycle activities, and compliance initiatives across the pharmaceutical group.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Counsel and legal counsels with corporate governance, entity registrations, and company resolutions.
• Prepare and file routine corporate documents, maintain business licenses, and manage Powers of Attorney and Grants of Authority.
• Coordinate KYC documentation for Treasury and non‑banking institutions.
• Update and maintain the Legisway Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, draft contract summaries, and oversee the end‑to‑end approval process.
• Archive physical and digital legal documents in line with retention policies.
• Support compliance programs, take minutes for the Compliance Committee, and assist with litigation coordination.
• Track operational KPIs, strategic projects, and recommend process improvements for the Legal Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or corporate paralegal.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Experience in a multinational environment and familiarity with KYC requests is preferred.
