Manager Fleet Business Intelligence & Data Strategy

About the role

The Manager, Fleet Business Intelligence & Data Strategy will lead the transformation of raw data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, cost optimisation and strategic scaling for the Ritz‑Carlton Yacht Collection. Embedded within operations, this senior role partners with department heads to shape the data landscape and deliver executive‑level reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a long‑term vision for the company’s data ecosystem, aligning integrations with 3‑5 year business objectives.
• Identify gaps in current data collection and lead the integration of new business systems.
• Oversee design, optimisation and performance of relational databases and data flows for analytical reporting.
• Act as Product Owner for the Business Intelligence toolset.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure security, privacy compliance and report accuracy.
• Consult with Operational Department heads (Hotel, Marine, Port & Guest Services, Shore Excursions) to define KPIs and build tracking mechanisms.
• Translate technical constraints into business risks or opportunities for senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of analysts, fostering a business‑first data culture.
• Manage departmental budget, including software licences and external consultancy costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data strategy and business intelligence initiatives in a multi‑departmental environment.
• Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence senior operational leaders.
• Demonstrated capability to manage budgets and external vendor relationships.
• Leadership experience building and developing analytical teams.
