Private Bank International Financial Crime Risk Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Crime Risk Manager to join our Private Bank and Wealth Management team in Monaco. Reporting to the Head of Private Bank International Financial Crime Risk, you will provide expert support across the client lifecycle and help strengthen the bank’s control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support Front Office from client onboarding through exit, ensuring compliance with local and international financial crime regulations.
• Manage risk and issue registers, produce governance reports and handle management escalations.
• Coordinate audit and assurance activities and contribute to remediation plans.
• Engage with stakeholders across locations and global teams to drive strategic initiatives.
• Potentially lead a small team, providing coaching and feedback to local and global members.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial crime, risk, or controls, preferably with recent experience in Monaco.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for decision‑making and clear communication of risk findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical mindset capable of identifying control weaknesses and driving remediation.
• Proven interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all corporate levels.
• People‑leadership experience is desirable.
