Project Execution Excellence Manager

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking a Project Execution Excellence Manager to lead the development and implementation of its Project Execution Directorate’s strategy. The role focuses on building a learning organization, driving continuous improvement, and aligning project management processes across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define department strategy and structure activities to support the company’s learning organization objective.
• Assign tasks, ensure competency levels, and provide guidance to the functional leadership team.
• Align PMO processes and tools with the Project Execution Directorate and Group functions.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing on incidents, key learnings, and best practices across projects.
• Lead the Performance Improvement Committee and Excellence Ambassador community meetings.
• Coordinate with business units and Group functions to create a coordinated improvement approach.
• Manage improvement initiatives such as incident investigations, Cold Eye Reviews, performance analysis, and learning from performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in project management or leading a department within large‑scale, complex projects.
• Proven ability to align processes and tools across multiple business functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills, especially with senior leadership.
