About the role

The Sales Development Representative role is an internal, full‑time position focused on expanding the sales of supplier brands across multiple territories for the On‑Premise division. The role rotates through different regions, filling gaps as needed to maximise brand visibility and sales performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Visit accounts and establish efficient daily routing patterns.
  • Deliver professional sales presentations, promoting displays, new products, cold‑box, shelf, back‑bar placements, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
  • Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permitted.
  • Use point‑of‑sale materials to ensure maximum brand visibility.
  • Collect payments and deliver checks or remittances where allowed.
  • Conduct educational training seminars for account staff on brand portfolios.
  • Handle customer issues, complaints, and special delivery circumstances, escalating to management as needed.
  • Strategise sales and merchandising objectives using pricing and product programming data.
  • Complete required surveys for national account compliance.
  • Achieve distribution, volume, and activity goals set by management.
  • Process credits, returns, and manage aged receivables.
  • Stay informed on company and supplier updates through weekly sales meetings.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales.
  • Basic PC proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software.
  • Results‑oriented professional with strong verbal and written communication skills.
