Senior Corporate Accountant

About the role

Camper & Nicholsons is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to oversee payroll‑related accounting operations and support broader corporate accounting activities across its entities. The role acts as a critical bridge between Human Resources and Finance, ensuring accurate payroll posting, compliance, and seamless integration with the general ledger.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for assigned entities, including invoice processing, bank and petty‑cash reconciliation, in line with IFRS and company policy.
• Contribute to month‑end close, prepare monthly VAT reports, and support external audits.
• Record, reconcile, and verify payroll entries, ensuring consistency with the general ledger.
• Track and provision for paid leave, bonuses, retirement benefits, and other employee costs.
• Prepare payroll cost allocation tables for management reporting and process wage and social‑contribution payments for review.
• Verify social and tax declarations, assist with annual employee income reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in monthly and annual financial closings, produce payroll‑related reports, and support internal and external audit requests.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in corporate accounting and payroll accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS principles and local tax regulations (VAT, social contributions).
• Proven ability to manage month‑end close, audit preparation, and financial reporting.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
