Senior Software Engineer in Test (Java) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test with strong Java expertise to ensure the reliability of a distributed backend platform serving enterprise customers worldwide. The role focuses on building robust automated test solutions and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks and suites in Java for distributed backend systems.
• Build and execute integration and end‑to‑end test coverage across multi‑component platform environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality gates and release readiness.
• Collaborate with developers to define testability requirements and improve code quality.
• Track, report and analyze test coverage and release quality metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles.
• 3+ years of professional experience using Java as the primary language.
• Strong background in automated testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release quality processes.
• Experience diagnosing defects and performing regression testing in distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
