Assistant Boutique Manager (Luxury Fashion)

About the role

As the new boutique prepares to open its first location in Monaco, the Maison Alaïa seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager to act as an ambassador of the brand, supporting the Boutique Manager in delivering exceptional client experiences and driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑monitor boutique sales targets and KPIs, identify growth opportunities and implement action plans.
• Prepare regular performance reports (sales, traffic, stock issues, discounts) and propose corrective actions.
• Support recruitment, training and day‑to‑day management of the team, delegating operational tasks and motivating staff around the Maison’s strategy.
• Oversee back‑office functions such as invoicing, planning, payroll and ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising and boutique upkeep in line with the Maison’s image.
• Promote clienteling practices, manage CRM tools, and develop local partnerships to attract high‑value luxury clientele.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and participate in local events to strengthen the boutique’s presence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury retail with a proven sales and operations record.
• Dynamic leader capable of building and motivating high‑performing teams.
• Strong operational expertise, able to optimise processes and ensure efficiency.
• Strategic thinker with solid analytical and business‑acumen skills.
• Deep understanding of the luxury fashion market and client behaviour, especially in an international context.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
