About the role

Del Monte is an international Group offering a variety of wholesome and nutritious products. We are looking for an Accountant on a temporary 6‑month contract to cover maternity leave, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

Review and post supplier invoices, prepare payments, and ensure compliance with financial authority limits and SOX requirements.
Perform month‑end closing journal entries, reconcile intercompany balances, and prepare bank and inventory reconciliations.
Participate in SOX audits, monitor sales commissions, produce ad‑hoc reports, and assist with VAT returns.

Required profile

Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in an international environment, preferably in the agri‑food industry.

Required skills

Fluent in English (oral and written).
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
