Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the role

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist at SBM Offshore, you will drive the company’s learning organization initiatives, ensuring quality issues are investigated, root causes identified, and corrective actions implemented effectively. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed best practices and foster a culture of continuous performance enhancement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of quality issues, verify data, conduct interviews, and determine root causes.
• Coordinate corrective‑action plans, set deliverables and target dates, and monitor implementation.
• Prepare and present survey reports on corrective‑action effectiveness to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Facilitate project learning activities, support project teams, and animate the Learning Champions community.
• Maintain ongoing liaison with GRS Group, Turnkey, and Operations to share best practices and new ways of working.
• Manage specific improvement tasks, prioritize objectives, and ensure clear communication across contributors.
• Provide regular feedback, flag potential risks, and escalate show‑stoppers as needed.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to interact with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and change management.
