Discretionary Portfolio Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Discretionary Portfolio Manager to serve private banking clients in Monaco. You will work closely with Private Bankers and high‑net‑worth individuals, providing investment guidance, portfolio insights and market commentary while helping to build long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Construct and manage discretionary investment portfolios across multiple asset classes in line with client mandates.
• Participate in Investment Committee discussions and contribute to asset‑allocation views and investment approaches.
• Monitor portfolio performance, review market developments and support the execution of investment activity.
• Prepare investment reports, analyses and client presentations.
• Assist with portfolio administration, transaction processing and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business on projects that develop the discretionary portfolio management offering.

Required profile

• Experience in discretionary portfolio management within private banking, wealth management or a similar investment‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with private clients and discuss investment strategy and performance.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products and financial‑statement analysis.
• Participation in investment or portfolio committee meetings and preparation of portfolio reviews.
• Master’s degree in Finance or Economics, or an equivalent professional qualification such as the CFA.
• Fluency in English and French.
