About the role

The IP Coordinator manages the group’s intellectual property assets, ensuring legal protection while fostering innovation and collaboration across SBM Offshore.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate IP prosecution and process management for patents and trademarks.
  • Administer the ANAQUA IP tool for tracking and reporting.
  • Interface with IP law firms and internal stakeholders such as brand managers.
  • Lead ANAQUA training and trademark processes.
  • Manage the IP budget and ensure financial efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and SBM policies.
  • Facilitate clear communication among all IP stakeholders.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree with basic understanding of the oil and gas industry and intellectual property.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience managing an IP portfolio.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with the ANAQUA IP management tool.
  • Good command of English.
  • Office applications proficiency.
  • Document management coordination.
  • Legal knowledge related to IP.
