Private Equity Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Private Equity Analyst to support its AI‑focused investment initiatives. This remote contract position offers the opportunity to apply financial expertise to evaluate and strengthen AI model outputs, while working closely with investment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and provide actionable insights to improve AI model performance.
• Review market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analyses for alignment with investment strategies.
• Develop comprehensive investment summaries and memos to guide decision‑making.
• Collaborate on Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) creation and due‑diligence processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process NDA and other legal documents efficiently to support deal flow.
• Source potential deals and deliver strategic recommendations for investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of private‑equity experience at top‑tier firms.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling and market sizing/TAM analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to produce investment summaries, memos, and CIMs.
• Experience handling NDA/legal documentation and deal sourcing.
