Senior Quality Engineer (Java) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with strong Java expertise to design and maintain robust test automation frameworks for a high‑complexity, distributed backend platform. You will embed quality into our CI/CD pipelines and help ensure reliable releases for enterprise customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java‑based test automation frameworks covering functional, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Define test strategies that address failure modes of distributed backend systems.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion quality engineering practices across the development team.
• Monitor test coverage and release confidence metrics, reporting findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience using Java for quality or test engineering.
• Proven ability to design and implement automated testing frameworks.
• Experience diagnosing defects and performing regression testing.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
