SEO & Web Content Assistant Intern

About the role

The International University of Monaco is seeking a motivated SEO & Web Content Assistant Intern to support its digital communication efforts. You will work closely with the Communication & Recruitment Manager, gaining hands‑on experience on a multilingual website.

Key responsibilities

• On‑page SEO optimisation (metadata, headings, internal linking, page structure)
• Keyword research and performance analysis using tools such as Google Search Console and Semrush
• Monitoring rankings, conducting content audits and providing SEO recommendations
• Writing and optimising blog posts, academic programme pages and landing pages
• Assisting with backlink strategies and competitive benchmarking
• Collaborating with admissions, faculty and communication teams

Required profile

• Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher in Digital Marketing, Communication or Data/Analytics
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, GSC and Semrush
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, curious and a good team player
