Technology Project Lead

About the role

As a Technology Project Lead at SBM Offshore, you will drive the development of new technologies and concepts that strengthen the company’s competitive edge in the offshore energy sector. You will coordinate engineering activities across proposals, technology studies, and (pre‑)FEED phases, ensuring cost‑effective innovation and seamless hand‑over to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Transform ideas into detailed concepts and scope of work to deliver optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, proposal, framing, and business development teams to solve technical challenges.
• Analyse data, prepare presentations, and provide expert recommendations.
• Deliver studies in line with defined KPIs and project timelines.
• Work closely with Technology Project Engineers and report to the Technology Project Manager.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including field work on construction or operational sites.
• At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
