Credit Operations Analyst (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Credit Operations Analyst on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to join its Credit Operations team in Monaco. You will manage the end‑to‑end processing of credit files after sanction approval, ensuring accurate booking, documentation checks and first‑level controls while delivering high‑quality service to the bank and its clients.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage credit files from sanction to settlement, including documentation verification and transaction booking in core banking systems.
• Perform first‑level controls under supervision to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Support Private Bank and Wealth Management (PBWM) initiatives: daily processing, reviewing, reporting and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align PBWM processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate operational risk and enhance efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations on PBWM performance for senior internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the banking sector, preferably within a regulated environment.
• Fluency in French; English proficiency is an advantage.
• Experience in credit operations, loan documentation monitoring, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of credit processes and documentation requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Avaloq or similar banking platform experience.
