Private Equity Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Private Equity Expert to support its AI investment initiatives on a fully remote, contract basis. You will work 10+ hours per week, providing financial insight and deal‑sourcing expertise to help shape the firm’s investment pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and offer insights to improve AI model outputs.
• Review market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analyses for alignment with investment strategies.
• Develop comprehensive investment summaries and memos to guide decision‑making.
• Collaborate on Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) creation and due‑diligence processes.
• Process NDA and other legal documents efficiently to support deal flow.
• Source potential deals and provide strategic recommendations for investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of private‑equity experience at top‑tier firms.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling and market sizing/TAM analysis.
• Proficiency in drafting investment summaries, memos, and CIMs.
• Hands‑on experience with due‑diligence and legal document processing.
• Demonstrated ability to source and evaluate investment opportunities.
