Project Execution Excellence Manager

About the role

As a Project Execution Excellence Manager at SBM Offshore, you will shape the department’s strategy and align its activities with the company’s ambition to become a Learning Organization. You will lead a team that drives continuous improvement across complex, large‑scale offshore projects, ensuring that processes, tools, and knowledge are shared effectively throughout the business.

Key responsibilities

• People Management: assign tasks, develop competencies, and guide functional leaders.
• Methods & Tools: align PMO processes and tools with the Project Execution Directorate and Group functions.
• Interface with GRS: cascade incidents, key learnings, and best practices across projects.
• Lead Performance Improvement Committee and Excellence Ambassador community meetings.
• Coordinate with Business and Group functions to create a coordinated improvement approach.
• Manage improvement initiatives such as incident investigations, Cold Eye Reviews, performance analysis, and learning from performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in project management or leading a department within a complex, large‑scale project environment.
• Proven ability to align processes and tools across multiple business functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills, especially with senior leadership.
