Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Offshore Projects

About the role

CELESTAL is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join an international technical team working on high‑level offshore projects based in Monaco. You will apply advanced simulation tools to develop and validate complex mechanical assemblies for offshore systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review offshore mechanical assemblies and components.
• Perform strength, stiffness, and fatigue calculations.
• Conduct linear and non‑linear finite element analysis using ABAQUS.
• Define modelling strategies, material properties, contacts, and boundary conditions.
• Validate simulation results against engineering calculations.
• Optimize designs to improve performance and reliability.
• Support technical reviews and multidisciplinary engineering decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Strong background in structural mechanics.
• Experience with offshore or oil & gas projects is highly valued.
• Proven ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
