Marketing Assistant Intern

About the role

This hands‑on, office‑based internship supports Northrop & Johnson’s marketing team with a strong focus on content creation and social media. You will work closely with sales and charter brokers to translate yacht listings into engaging short‑form video and visual content for Instagram and TikTok, while gaining experience in broader marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit short‑form video content for Instagram and TikTok, covering yacht listings, shows, open days and events.
• Collaborate with brokers to capture key highlights of new listings and produce broker‑led videos that are professional, informative and authentic.
• Support the marketing team with general administration, including preparing internal and external materials and building presentations using Canva.
• Design and adapt social‑media visuals and marketing assets (restaurant guides, charter itineraries, destination documents) using existing Canva templates.
• Provide on‑site assistance during yacht shows and company events, handling setup, signage, equipment and ticket distribution.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a marketing, communications or related program.
• Creative mindset with the ability to work within defined brand guidelines and approval processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with brokers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva for creating and adapting visual assets.
• Video filming and editing capabilities.
• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok platforms for short‑form content.
