Business Risk Manager – Controls Team (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join the Controls Team as a Business Risk Manager on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. You will operate within the first line of defence, supporting Front Office, Credit and Investment teams to strengthen the supervision framework and ensure robust risk management, governance and control across investment and credit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide risk advisory, oversight and control support to Front Office, Credit, Operations and Investment stakeholders.
• Identify and assess risks, highlight process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with business units to ensure regulatory, reputational and control standards are met while preserving client experience.
• Assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank’s internal control framework and document findings.
• Investigate potential weaknesses, prioritize remediation and develop reporting for senior management.

Required profile

• Experience in banking, preferably in audit, control or risk oversight.
• Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of identifying risks and proposing practical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across Front Office, Credit, Operations and Investment teams.
• Clear communication skills in both French and English.

Required skills

• VBA (or comparable data‑analysis tools).
