Corporate Finance Specialist - Analyst

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Corporate Finance Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help improve AI‑generated financial content by evaluating models, reviewing reports, and providing structured feedback to research teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the accuracy and depth of financial models to enhance model rigor.
• Review complex financial reports for alignment with domain principles.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality.
• Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for AI‑generated financial tasks.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure dataset consistency and relevance.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while driving model performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Proven experience in financial modeling within a professional setting.
• Experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.
• Ability to work remotely with a commitment of 10+ hours per week.
