Corporate Paralegal Officer

About the role

The Corporate Paralegal Officer supports the General Counsel in planning, executing and maintaining legal department projects, including contract lifecycle management, corporate governance and KYC procedures. The role involves tracking project progress, handling corporate filings, and ensuring efficient legal processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Counsel and legal counsels on corporate governance matters, entity registrations, routine filings, and litigation support.
• Participate in feeding and regularly updating the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, archive legal documents, maintain business licenses, and manage the contract approval process.
• Manage records‑management tools, define project success standards, recommend process improvements, and track operational KPIs and strategic projects.
• Act as liaison between the Treasury department and stakeholders to provide KYC documentation to banks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience as a corporate paralegal, including handling KYC requests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies.
• Fluent spoken and written English and French.
• Experience in a multinational group handling corporate matters and subsidiary registrations is preferred.
