Deal Commercial Strategy & Operations Lead

About the role

This senior individual contributor position gives you direct strategic influence over Remote's Deal Desk. You will partner with the Senior Manager to shape processes, drive cross‑functional initiatives, and improve sales operations across the organization. The role offers a clear path toward people management as the team grows, all within a fully asynchronous, remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the operational leader for the Deal Desk, handling escalations and setting quality standards.
• Mentor Associates and Specialists, providing guidance and removing blockers.
• Represent the Senior Manager in cross‑functional forums with Sales VPs, Legal, and Finance to align priorities and surface team needs.
• Lead initiatives that streamline Quote‑to‑Cash, pricing, and contract exception processes.
• Analyze deal trends and operational signals to generate actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related function within an Enterprise SaaS/B2B company.
• Proven track record handling complex, high‑stakes deals and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of Quote‑to‑Cash, revenue recognition, and order management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, fully remote, globally distributed environment.

• Salesforce (SFDC) – deep hands‑on knowledge, troubleshooting, workflow optimization.
• Configure‑Price‑Quote (CPQ) systems.
