F&B Cost Controller & Inventory Specialist

About the role

As an F&B Cost Controller & Inventory Specialist you will oversee all Food & Beverage inventory and cost‑control activities across the business. The position demands a highly organised, analytical professional who can manage stock movements, monitor purchasing costs, keep accurate inventory records and produce detailed cost reports.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify all incoming Food & Beverage deliveries.
• Monitor stock movements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Manage the inventory management software (StockTake) and conduct regular inventories and stock audits.
• Support chefs and managers with inventory counts and stock‑control activities.
• Track food and beverage costs and prepare periodic cost reports.
• Maintain purchasing, supplier and stock‑related documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient supply‑chain operations.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cost control, inventory control or stock controller roles within hospitality or Food & Beverage.
• Hands‑on experience conducting Food & Beverage inventories.
• Experience using inventory management software; StockTake experience is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Fluent in Italian and French; English is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage cost control and inventory management.
