Mercor is seeking a contract Financial Analyst to support its AI research labs by ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting used in AI model outputs. This remote, part‑time role offers $100 per hour and flexible asynchronous work.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the accuracy of financial reporting to ensure compliance and precision in AI model outputs.
• Analyze complex financial data to enhance the depth and rigor of AI‑generated content.
• Provide structured feedback to AI research teams to improve training data quality and performance.
• Develop benchmarks for assessing AI‑generated financial analysis tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and relevance across datasets.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Experience in financial reporting or financial analysis.
