IT Project Management Lead

About the role

As an IT Project Management Lead at SBM Offshore, you will drive the planning, coordination and execution of IT projects across a portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and aligned with business objectives. You will act as the main point of contact for the Portfolio Manager and provide visibility across all projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project managers to deliver IT projects in line with organizational goals and capacity.
• Develop, implement and enforce project management methodologies and best practices.
• Coordinate with IT, business stakeholders and external vendors to meet milestones and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and apply corrective actions when needed.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management and ensure transparent communication.
• Mentor and coach project engineers and managers, fostering continuous improvement.
• Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL or PRINCE2 are preferred.
• Master's degree in IT Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
• Fluent English for effective communication.
