IT Project Manager

About the role

As an IT Project Manager at SBM Offshore, you will lead medium‑complexity technology projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they align with business objectives, timelines and budgets. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage resources and mitigate risks to drive successful outcomes for our deep‑water energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple medium‑complexity IT projects, delivering on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, milestones, resource allocation and risk management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Define project objectives, scope and deliverables in line with business goals.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues promptly and manage project budgets.
• Conduct project meetings, including kick‑offs, progress updates and post‑implementation reviews.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Guide and mentor project team members, fostering continuous improvement.
• Manage procurement and deployment of software, hardware and third‑party services.
• Handle change requests with proper documentation, assessment and approval.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing medium‑complexity IT projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of project budgeting and financial controls.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project‑management approaches.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to offshore energy projects.
