IT Strategy & Innovation Manager

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking an IT Strategy & Innovation Manager to shape and continuously evolve the corporate IT vision and multi‑year strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, turning technology trends and performance insights into clear investment priorities and roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own, and continuously update the corporate IT Strategy and rolling 3‑Year IT Plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Translate the IT strategy into an executive‑level narrative supported by KPIs, scorecards, and governance processes.
• Develop and maintain Corporate AI Guidance, covering vision, governance principles, decision frameworks, and enterprise guardrails.
• Own the business capability map and heatmaps to link platforms, solutions, and initiatives to value, risk, and readiness.
• Design and align the IT Innovation process with the corporate innovation framework, including intake criteria and prioritization rules.
• Lead the IT Innovation community, fostering collaboration between business and IT stakeholders.
• Manage the Emerging Technology Radar and decision forums to influence architecture, platform choices, and investment planning.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Data, Security, Risk, and Delivery teams to ensure strategic alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in defining and executing corporate IT strategies and multi‑year plans.
• Strong advisory skills with senior leadership, capable of translating complex trends into actionable roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of AI governance, enterprise architecture, and innovation frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to lead cross‑functional communities.
