Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join the finance team of an international organisation operating across multiple markets. The role supports daily financial operations, ensures accurate record‑keeping, and assists with reporting and month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payments using online banking tools
• Record and process invoices
• Perform bank account reconciliations
• Reconcile customer and supplier statements
• Monitor petty‑cash balances and related reconciliations
• Review and follow up on employee expense claims
• Support period‑end closing tasks, including accruals, pre‑payments and balance revaluations
• Assist the team in meeting financial reporting deadlines
• Prepare and gather documentation required for external audits

Required profile

• Previous exposure to accounting or finance functions (internship or apprenticeship) is beneficial
• Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Required skills

• Proficiency with online banking tools
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems
• Competence with standard office and productivity tools
