Junior Finance Automation Specialist

About the role

As a Junior Finance Automation Specialist you will sit at the intersection of finance, technology and global operations, supporting the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across a worldwide travel group. You will help users today while building the automated finance ecosystem that will power the business of tomorrow.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and investigate system issues.
• Create test scenarios, participate in user‑acceptance testing and produce clear process documentation and training materials.
• Monitor automated processes, analyse errors and data inconsistencies, and assist with migration from legacy finance systems.
• Analyse finance processes to identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation and automation.
• Collaborate with finance, IT and operational teams across multiple countries and time zones.

Required profile

• Sound understanding of accounting principles and core finance processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Infor SunSystems or a comparable ERP platform.
• Confidence working with data, spreadsheets and structured business information.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear written and verbal communication.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to question existing ways of working.
• Ability to work comfortably in an international, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or comparable ERP).
• Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Microsoft SQL Server, T‑SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, Azure SQL.
• System integrations, data migration and finance automation.
• Experience with treasury management applications and specialised purchasing platforms (e.g., AMOS, MXP, Crunchtime).
