Marketplace Operations Manager

About the role

The Marketplace Operations Manager will oversee the operational management of product and supplier catalogues for the Marcas marketplace. Acting as the central link between suppliers, internal stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure that product data is accurate, structured and ready for marketplace users.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and continuously improve product catalogue structures, attributes and category hierarchies.
• Onboard new suppliers, collect product and commercial data, and manage offer activation and updates.
• Harmonise supplier data from varied formats, define standards, and maintain traceable transformation rules.
• Produce error reports, corrective action plans and support API‑based catalogue imports.
• Coordinate with Category Managers, IT, procurement and operations teams, and provide regular status updates to the Marketplace Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in e‑commerce, supply chain, data management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in catalogue management, PIM/MDM, marketplace operations or B2B e‑commerce, with strong Excel and data‑handling capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and CSV file manipulation.
• Power Query (strongly preferred) and Power BI.
• Experience with PIM/MDM platforms (e.g., Akeneo, Salsify, Pimcore, Syndigo).
• Familiarity with marketplace platforms such as Mirakl.
• API integration, SFTP, CSV/XML feed handling.
• Data matching, normalisation, deduplication and version‑control practices.
