Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager

About the role

Join a global private banking group in Monaco as the Operational Resilience and Outsourcing Manager within the Chief Operating Officer function. You will own the risk, control and outsourcing agenda for the local entity, ensuring compliance with EEA regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee internal and external outsourcing providers and ICT vendors, ensuring compliance with EEA requirements including DORA.
• Design, implement and develop the risk and control framework for the COO function, aligned with group standards.
• Identify key risks in COO processes, design mitigating controls and keep them aligned with internal policy, regulatory requirements and industry practice.
• Analyse root causes of operational risk incidents and define corrective measures.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of business continuity management.
• Lead or contribute to strategic and regulatory projects, acting as the key contact for group‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• At least five years of professional experience, ideally within a financial institution.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English, written and verbal.
• Excellent organisational skills with a consistent record of meeting deadlines.
• Pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach and willingness to take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with outsourcing management and third‑party risk.
• Knowledge of EEA regulatory expectations, including DORA.
